WELCOME HOME DUNIT! Home at last from his tour in Iraq, we look forward to many rides with him! Glad to have you home Brother!
I got a wonderful email from Brother Pa-Poe today! He is fine and well and stationed in Iraq for the next 12 months. I asked Him what He and His fellow Soldiers missed most about home in hopes that we could send them a care package. Their reply was for the most basic things...sunscreen, toothpaste, SOFT toilet paper, CDs, DVDs, biker, car, hunting or fishing magazines, letters, cards, pics,books, wet wipes, soap.
To this end, the Memphis Chapter of the 11th Cavalry MC will be hosting a drive for these items thru the month of Aug. If You would like to contribute items or monies towards shipping costs or procurement of any items please email me at:
Imagine Our delight when He informed Us that He is stationed there with the 11th Cavalry unit! (He says they all LOVE His Colors!) I would also Like to be able to send Him an 11th Cavalry MC Flag as well. Anyone wishing to send letters or cards may either email them to me or email me for snailmail addy.
We enjoy the freedoms we have today because of the brave men and women that put their lives on the line everyday for us.... let us never forget that....
NATIONAL OFFICE RESTRUCTURES.
In an effort to properly maintain this Club, tha National Business Offices of the 11th Cavalry MC will be restructuring its records. To that end all Troop Presidents will be recieving a packet via email or snail mail containing the necessary information needed from your Troop.
